Carco flies to Hong Kong, where he discovers that Yvon has been killed by the triads, who are after a fortune in fake passports. He manages to rescue Bao and bring him back to Paris, where he entrusts him to Father Hervà Tarain (Clavier), a naive and clumsy priest who runs an orphanage.
However, the triads are not willing to give up on their prey and send a hitman (Laurent Gendron) to eliminate Carco and Bao. Carco and Tarain soon realize that they have to work together to protect the boy and themselves from the ruthless killers. Along the way, they encounter various characters, such as Regina (Eva Grimaldi), a sexy singer who works at Carco's club; Tchouk Tchouk Nougat (Eva Herzigova), a supermodel who falls in love with Tarain; and Angelina (Dominique Marcas), an old lady who claims to be Tarain's guardian angel.
The film is full of action scenes, such as car chases, shootouts, explosions and fights. It also features many humorous situations, such as Tarain dressing up as a woman to infiltrate a fashion show; Carco pretending to be a priest to escape from the police; and Bao using his martial arts skills to defend himself from bullies. The film also explores the themes of friendship, family and faith, as Carco and Tarain learn to trust each other and care for Bao.
The film ends with a happy resolution, as Carco and Tarain manage to defeat the triads and expose their leader, Mr. Mo (Ysà Tran), who turns out to be a corrupt banker. They also discover that Bao is actually the son of a wealthy Chinese businessman, who offers them a large reward for saving his life. Carco decides to use the money to renovate his club and make it more respectable, while Tarain decides to stay with Bao and adopt him as his son.
